There is nothing like a 7 hour drive to really get to know your friends! You learn all about their favourite snacks, their music tastes, and the smell of their barely hidden farts. And since the destination in mind was an old family home, there was no end to the stories of her past as we passed memorable locations. I now have Pia to thank for a very detailed understanding of the city of Mildura.

By no means am I a professional when it comes to theatre. A huge love of mine, I have amateur experience in reading, writing, and performing plays and musicals, but I wouldn’t say I have the makings of a critic. However, I also can’t keep my mouth shut when I see something I love, so after watching the Red Cliff Players performance of Macbeth last weekend, I have to share it with you.
This theatre company is local to the rural city of Mildura. I knew one or two of the cast and crew, hence the 7 hour roadtrip for a small production. I came in expecting to enjoy myself and appreciate it from a community perspective.
I was wrong.
